Early Roman Helmet - 50 BC

The Early Roman Helmet is constructed from 18 gauge brass; the inside of the helm is blackened and unlined. The steel rings with central brass medallions are integrated into the helm with leather bands -these side rings allow a chin strap to be tied onto the helmet (chin strap not included). Included with the helmet is a separate padded cotton arming cap.

This helmet is a replica of an original Roman helmet dating to around 50 BC - the time of Caesar.
