Left-Handed Flintlock Blunderbuss Gray finish - Non-Firing Replica

Blunderbusses were typically very short, with barrel less than 23'' of length, at the same time, musket's barrel measured more than 35''. The firing mechanism was based on a flint or flint stone, in which the hammer produced the spark that ignited the gunpowder.

Reproductions of some of the rarest flintlock models in history. These were designed to be drawn and fired with the left hand, leaving your right hand free to wield a cutlass. Placing the lock on the left side prevented the lock from snagging on clothing when drawing from your belt. Each features an engraved lock and butt plate. Available in faux brass or antique gray finishes.
