Today the Fleur De Lis is most often recognized as the logo for the New Orleans Saints, but the symbol also has a rich historical background. The Fleur De Lis is a stylized lily or iris originating in the middle ages and was originally used to represent royalty, most notably the French monarchy. Ours is crafted in sterling silver, surrounded by a braid.
